As part of the Big South Conference, Longwood University frequently broadcasts its athletic events and opens up the opportunity for students to get involved. Working with the Big South Network (BSN) Crew I've been able to gain experience in the fast pace world of sporting events; learning how to set up and strike down equipment, filming from various angles, taking direction from a technical director, and working in various areas of the BSN technical trailer (working on switch boards, graphic control, and replay). Through my experiences with the BSN Crew, I have been able to help broadcast the university soccer, lacrosse, basketball, and baseball games.

Through social media, I responded to alumni and current student messages and comments, and work creatively to produce interesting and engaging content. Created posters, fliers, and "media blasts" for upcoming events and alumni spotlights promoted through Facebook and Twitter. Utilized Hootsuite in order to manage accounts.
